I was born in Quebec city – Canada. I now live in Sunnyvale and I started working at Google in March 2010. Nathalie and I are both French Canadian and we met at work. In fact, we are on the same team. We are both contractors without health benefits. Two months ago Nathalie told me she has a recurring cervical cancer. I felt so helpless that I then decided to create Zap Cancer a fundraiser to support Nathalie to fight the worst battle of her life.
Nathalie is not only battling a life threatening illness but also the financial burden that her illness has caused. Last December she went through a very intensive six weeks and expensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment. At the end of January 2011 she will start another round of chemo to prevent the cancer to recur again.
You can make a big difference in Nathalie's life by making a donation. It's not only about money. It's about the fact that you can be a piece of making someone else life a bit better. Give her hope and send her positive energy. You will be amazed how strong you will all feel in the end.
